#MUVEMONDAYS - Episode 03
Today, we’ll cover how false expectations can affect your approach to change and transformation in relationships and lifestyle choices as well as holistic wellness solutions.
As we know with all things in life, to get the best results, there must be involvement in developing a self-awareness practice on your own terms...
The #MUVEMondays series is the rooted in SELF, so we will not aim to give advice that we believe is some kind of “magic bullet” to the change you want to see in your life, but instead we intend to point out your own power and capability to change your own life the way you see fit.
Welcome to #MUVEMondays where YOU get answer and solutions to your biggest wellness concerns! We are not here to teach you so you learn, but instead, here to point so you discover...
What you'll discover on the show this week:
You'll discover holistic solutions to top wellness challenges in two major areas of discussion rooted in wellness and love: (1) Lifestyle Changes (2) Relationship Wellness
Here are a few helpful tips to ease your transition and deepen your understanding of how powerful and capable you truly are in pursuit of your freedom……
"When you knock on the door of your heart, it says ‘Come in! But, please leave your mind outside.’
You may feel it hard to do, but it explains ‘In here, we may receive thoughts, but we don’t act on them or call them our own. We watch them come and watch them go… When you are here, you are simply just here.’
You may say ‘Okay, I got it-- What’s next?’
But, the heart replies ‘That too is a thought. There is no ‘next’ just be here’. You may feel you cannot stay in a state of peace like this, but the heart reminds you ‘Look around right now, what do you really have to do here? You have come here and made a discovery… Sit with it. Stay with it. Leave your mind outside.’
Welcome to yourself... Namaste."

Solutions to Challenge # 1:
What's Really Going On:
There's often so much on our plate that we don't know where to start. People will give you (reflect back) many suggestions and oppositions….
But there's something inside of you that knows what's best for you. Involvement is key, but when it comes to maintaining a healthy lifestyle you want to know what to involve yourself in.
And, if you feel that is insufficient in some way... we can all attest to the fact that when you make changes to your life that don’t serve you, your family, your friends, your coworkers and others in your life will let you know when you need to stop.
Tap into that part of you that watches the inner conversations about ‘what is right and what is wrong’ and decide from a place that is not swayed, but instead possesses an unchallenged inner knowing.
When attempting to maintain a healthy lifestyle, it is easy to feel overwhelmed with scheduling and planning, but this is only because of the mind and it’s habits of worry and doubt. If you want to be disciplined about sticking to a yogic or meditative or prayer-based practice, only do what you can manage without speaking negatively about yourself for not doing enough.
There is time. If you are trying to eat healthy, practice remaining in the inner space by simply not eating when unhealthy food is the only food available. If you are starving and unhealthy food is the only thing available and you can’t leave, don’t eat much of it and you will be fine.
Remain detached either way and you will begin to see, there is a part of you that was always “here”-- even before you were healthy or unhealthy. Sit with that deep aspect of yourself when you feel worried, overwhelmed, or judgmental of yourself?
Mindfulness Remedies:
Discover the part of you that isn’t attached to the need to control the situation
When you discover it, don’t tell stories about it or try to interpret it (don’t “give it to the mind”)-- remain empty of memories, goals and expectations in the present moment
Decide and respond from this present space
It will happen naturally and without effort-- allow this. The more you observe yourself in this space, the more you will strengthen your intuition and be able to rely on your inner-wisdom for guidance
Take moments in your day to observe how you feel in regards to your health and wellness
What do I want to be involved in now? What AM I involved in now? How can I best use my energy?
Meditation and Listen inward. Use intentional breathing as a tool to activate your intuition.
Aside from self-shaming, simply ask yourself: Am I going to be the person that doesn’t follow my planned dietary practice (Right now)? Am I going to play the role of the person who doesn’t want to follow their own yogic/prayer-based practice?
Lisa Nichols - Expose the Lies exercise to identify, confront, and push past limiting beliefs around yourself as well as your health and wellness, etc.
Practice mindful yoga (i.e. Kemetic yoga, etc.) or or other mindful exercises (Qi Gong, Tai Chi, etc.) to stimulate your parasympathetic nervous systems healing response

Apply food-combining principles and consume alkaline-forming foods
Fasting
Intermittent fasts (in between meals eliminating snacks and excessive frequent sipping or drinking water/juice/soda).

Helps your body send clearer messages about what you just ate and what it needs.
Fasting from specific harmful foods in stages (i.e. today cut out pork and red meat, next month cutting out poultry, next soda and refined sugars, then dairy products, etc.,)
Taking your time alleviates extreme withdraw symptoms
Helps reduce cravings
Full fasts and Micro fasts (3 days, 7 days, 21 days, 40 days, 90 days)
100% juice (not from concentrate), alkaline water, and herb brews
Food cravings are often rooted in emotional and spiritual needs as well as how you view yourself
Restful Remedies:
Upon waking up, try to realize what was there even before the sense of “I am” was identified with.Upon going to sleep, contemplate this: what is it in you that watches consciousness slip away?
Get sufficient rest. The amount of sleep needed will vary based on your lifestyle and perception. Rest may includes moments of stillness and deep meditation as well.
Challenge # 2: Relationship Wellness
"Allowing who I'm experiencing love with and through to also have time to find themselves outside of our cosmic connection and within their own... but not separating or falling apart... balancing space."

Solutions to Challenge # 2:
What's Really Going On:
If I am in a relationship and want that person to “find themselves” but don’t want to create space unnecessarily between us, how do we move from here?“
If you love them, let them grow.”
We often either feel like we don’t want to leave our partner behind or become resented by them for participating on a journey to truth. Others also may feel like their partner spends too much time thinking about the relationship and not about themselves. Is there an easy solution to this confusion?
Good news: there is...
In these moments that you feel that you two aren’t involved in self discovery as much as you would like, take time to communicate, but more importantly, be the example.
As you realize that you are worrying about what your partner may be doing that doesn’t include spending time in self discovery, take time for your own self discovery.
Your inside is a reflection of your outside environment so when you are genuinely involved in your own self-discovery the people around you always will reflect this back to you.
Medicinal Herbal Remedies:
Herbs should be organic and/or wild-crafted. Herbs can be eaten fresh, or brewed into a tea.
Mindfulness Remedies:
Commit to calmly communicating your concerns to your partner
Meditate and Listen inward. Use intentional breathing as a tool to activate your intuition.
Lisa Nichols - Expose the Lies exercise to identify, confront, and push past limiting beliefs around financial wellness, etc.
Remember the mind is not always your friend in these times so utilize your ability to discern your own thoughts.
Try to refrain from tumbling down fearful trains of thought and practice gratitude in the face of fearful situations
Don’t identify with the fearful beliefs you have about the relationship you have with money. You have the power.
Take moments in your day to observe how you feel in regards to your relationships and how they are affecting you.
Restful Remedies:
Designate an hour of time to find stillness and involve yourself in coming to center
Get sufficient rest
Key Takeaway:
Involve yourself with your inner journey. Everything that happens to you unfolds from the inside-out.
So, use the power of attention to practice observing from the aspect of yourself that is infinite and unwavering. What you focus on strengths and intensifies, and your habits as well as beliefs determine your perceived reality.
Enjoy this life and feel free to BE...
Connecting with yourself by developing a custom-made self-awareness practice is the key that unlocks all of your potential and puts you in the direction of your goals...
